Most of the rock music in 1980's has dramatic arrangements. Many songs, even softer ones, incorporated grand gestures like soaring pianos, emotional guitar solos, and dramatic vocals. Some artists used their platform to address social issues, while others focused on themes of love and personal relationships in their lyrics.
